5/23/2012: Initiative for Research in Biopharmaceutical Operations director Professor Phil Kaminsky presented preliminary results from the Center's ongoing research project focusing on "Retrospective Optimization for Supply Chain Risk Mitigation" at the Industrial and Systems Engineering Research Conference (ISERC) in Orlando.

7/1/2011: The UC Berkeley CELDi Initative for Research in Biopharmaceutical Operations is proud to announce that Bayer Healthcare, Genentech, and BioMarin have joined the Center as Founding Members.
3/10/2011: The UC Berkeley site of the Center for Excellence in Logistics and Distributions has been awarded National Science Foundation funding, as part of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Program. The Berkeley site will focus exclusively on issues faced by the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
